My mother took me to get an abortion when I was 15yrs old.

I have 2 children now and working on having  a son...to make up for the 1 I gave up years ago.

what's up p4cm. i absolutely love how you guys are rocking it for the kingdom. i became aware of your Christ movement about one year ago at a conference hosted by the impact movement in atlanta, ga. there were ALOT of people rocking p4cm.com shirts...it was, hmm, just a little overwhelming at first to see all those 'ex...' shirts, like 'whoa, that's a strong statement!' but, thanks be to God who is the reason why we overcome.

let me get to the point: i wanted to ask this question and welcome any and all responses. i know that abortion is a sin because it takes the life of another human being, morally wrong and pains the heart of God. i have not experienced abortion personally, but my heart goes out to young girls and women who are victims of rape, incest done against them by family members and other types of sexual abuse that led to them being impregnanted against their will. my heart also goes out to women who are carrying unborn babies with severe retardation and developmental issues that would make it impossible for their babies to survive longer in the womb or thrive on their own outside the womb, and they are instructed by doctors to terminate their pregnancies.

pastor justin, p4cm members and any others who'd like to share, how would you minister and respond to a female in such a situation as this?

it would seems a huge measure of sensitivity, love and care would be incredibly needed. for the women who've been raped or afflected by incest and abuse, it could make the abuse or assault even more difficult in carrying a child full term and being reminded daily of what happended ot them. for the women with unborn babies with severe illnesses and disorders, they and their families are faced with a heart-wrenching future. 

how can believers minister to women in such a situation, showing them God's love? how would you minister to a woman in either situation who's a believer? who's a non-believer?

i'd imagine there are many women who have walked this road or are walking it and the answer doesn't seem so cut and dry. blessings p4cm.com.

Wait a minute, we are all going against abortions; however, we are still SINNING and having SEX outside of marriage...what is wrong with this picture. If we are true christians, than we would stop having sex outside of a committed relationship-called marriage, and then we would not have to even have an abortion or even discuss this...

Come'on, we are the light of the world...we need to be promoting ABSTINENCE and women dressing appropriately as not to arouse any man...

I had an abortion when I was 16.  I now have a beautiful 3 year old and another little girl on the way.  I thank God every day for not making my womb barren.  He is so good even when we don't listen to Him.  Thank you Lord for your forgiveness and the gospel of your son Jesus Christ.  I was so selfish for not wanting that little baby because it wasn't "the right time" and for letting people convince me it was the right thing to do.  But God is a forgiving God!  God is good!!!

I am Fatim and I am 2 months pregnant. My mother made me have an abortion when I was 18 and I swore never to do that again. I must say that it is not the right time for me to have a baby ,it might not even be with the right guy.Everybody is telling me to be smart and to use my head .But beside the fact that I already love this baby I can not hurt my God anymore andbutcher his temple(my body).I dont really know why God made me discover Catherine s abortion experience just some few hours before my boyfriend told me to get an abortion, but I think it is to strenghten me because at that point I need strenght. And most of all I need prayer and encouragement. I want to have this child even if I have to beg for subsistence, I already gave up so much for him and I am ready to continue.... People of God your sister needs prayer

I'm almost 50 yrs. old and about 30+ yrs. ago, being the diva bling bling that I was & most self-centered egotistical person that I was I persuaded my sister into having an abortion.  It was the most TRAGIC HEART WRENCHING thing my sister and parents ever went through! And to this day, NOBODY in my family will be honest & talk about it.  My sister's other 3 grown children don't even know that they have a brother or a sister in heaven waiting on them.  Everytime I run across a video about abortion I can't stand to even think about it and all the deception and deceit that my family is living under.  Even tho I wasn't the one that physically suffered the tradegy...I still feel as responsible as if I had done the murder myself and I want desperately to forgive myself because I know JESUS has...but even now as I write this I am full of immense emotional pain and sorrow for the transgression....GOD BLESS P4CM & ABBY JOHNSON May YESHUA REIGN on Earth as it is in HEAVEN!!!

Holiness(abstinence, monagamy) is the key.  I personally have experienced the effect of what the power of sin will do.  The Word is the answer, I agree with Priscilla,  preach the Word.  There is way to much compromise and we continually mix the sacred and the profane.  I was so moved and thankful that this young lady chose to trust GOD.  I speak many blessings on her households and others just like it.  I thank GOD that mothers like you made the right choice. I know my mom did........

For a very long time ( before i found Christ) i was on that side of the fence, always thinking how could a GOD expect a female to live with something like that.Keeping a child and always looking at that child and always thinking of being raped, but how about this people...WE'RE TALKING ABOUT GOD HERE!!!! the one who allows us to be transformed by the RENEWING of our minds... I think thats a cop out...becaus doesn"'t giving birth to a child come with extrem pain??? i think so... i'm pretty sure so...and women do't look at that as a constant reminger aeverytime they look at their child of how much pain they went through to bring the baby into this world... Why?? its because the BLessing is much more special than the storm that you came out of to recieve it. The BIBLE tells us there is no storm that can compare to the GLORY of GOD! so people just realize GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES! the day a female gets raped is not the day GOD finds out about it!!! He has known for a very long time that day would come and has a special plan for that person and her child. Ladies out there, u never know who GOD has placed in your womb. So just know that GOD is a GOD who is Madly in loev with you and would not ALLOW AYTHING to happen to you that he didn't first know that u would be able to handle! JESUS IS LORD< MUCH LUV

Thank you so much for sharing your story.  I was born in September 1973 to a severly deformed and deaf teenage mother.  Roe v. Wade Just passed everybody told her to Abort.  She refused.  I was a perfect baby girl.  I have one younger sister who is healthy.  I have two healthy children.  I am so greatful to my beautiful mother for chosing life.

  i had an abortion while i was married ...  it was the most tragic day of my life ...

and i lived in that state for 3 yrs , untill i took councling , with a christian group....

i promise you now that through this group Jesus has bought me total healing , i am no longer crying and in mental agony at my act , i named my child , and let her go , and i know she is safe is the arms of Jesus and that i am forgiven , some times i still crave that child to be here with me, but i no longer have the emotional pain... 

Jesus I love you so much for saving me from my ugly sin... xx
