Is God Really Good?
Submitted by Layman on Sun, 05/02/2010 - 12:00.
If God is so good then how come there is so much suffering in the world and in our lives individually? Yet we are told that God is good so either we've been lied to or there is something wrong with our natural understanding of God's goodness.
In this sermon, Pastor Justin Cox brings a very valuable sermon about the things we blame God for that aren't His fault and gives a good explanation about some of the frustrations we meet with day-to-day as Christians. This sermon gives light to the reasons for the things God wants us to do and why we don't want to do them.
Too often we put qualities and characteristics on God that do not really belong to Him. Is God really behind all the rules that we place on ourselves or is it our own doing? Hopefully this sermon encourages you to trust God's judgments rather than your own.

No matter what you do in your life everything requires a certain state of mind. Especially when you're dealing with people, you have to know how to relate to people in very specialized ways. In the same way, as Christians, there is a certain frame of mind that we have to have in order to handle our the circumstances that may come up in our lives.
How we relate to Christ is often demonstrated by how we relate to other people and to our circumstances. In this sermon Pastor Justin Cox gives us some helpful tips on the state of mind that we should have as Christians when dealing with every area of our lives.
What's Love Got to Do With It?
Submitted by Layman on Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:00.
Sadly, often times when Christian singles start feeling lonely we tend to behave like the world in the way in which we pursue relationships. Instead of looking to God to complete us we run hard after another person to find fulfillment there. Perhaps it is because we don’t really know how to handle being in a relationship as a Christian so we may carry into a relationship the same practices we had in the world.
In this message Minister TQ shares the very sobering dangers of awaking love before its time and gives us three biblical principles to tell if a relationship is moving too fast, using his personal experiences to bring the point home. This is a very insightful and refreshing view of the dating process and is even helpful for a single person that may consider being in a relationship any time soon.
I Ain't No Punk pt. 2
Submitted by Layman on Sun, 03/07/2010 - 12:00.We all like to have things go easy for us. We like to be comfortable but there are times in our lives that as Christians we have to stand when we want nothing more than to give in to sin, or to fit in with the people around us. Sometimes we don't want to be courageous. We may not always want to ask ourselves the "hard questions" about our relationship with God or others. But are you willing to trust in Christ in your circumstances?
In this message, Minister Chris Facey continues his "I ain't no punk" character list with some very challenging points that are sure to bring out things that either are in your heart or things for you to look out for to make sure you don't fall into. If you're not giving God everything you're likely to see your limits from this message. Be blessed as you listen to this convicting and humbling sermon.

We all face the kinds of circumstances that require that we go past what we think we can endure in order to serve God. Sometimes it's a person in our lives that exhausts all of our natural abilities to be loving and patient. Sometimes it's a temptation to give in to lust or pride that will push us to our limits and make our flesh desperately desire to defy God's Word.
In this very encouraging message, Minister Chris Facey gives us ways that we can fight against the temptation to give up on God when the going gets tough. We all need courage if we're going to be Christians--this walk is not always easy. Will you stand when everything inside is telling you you'll never make it? This is a very timely message.

Jesus spoke with so much wisdom and authority. He raised the standard for the Laws of God to a level never before seen, especially lust. Listen as Pastor Cox peers into the historical roots of the words of Christ and exposes the REAL definition of lust. Christ ask us if our we are willing to pluck out our right eye if it would get in the way of being sold out to him. Would you?
