Everyone has swagger, even the wise men of scripture. No nativity scene is complete without the wise men but these men are usually overlooked and their story discounted as insignificant. We don’t often realize just how much we could learn from these men.

Some scholars say they traveled more than 1,000 miles across a desert to worship Jesus and to bring him gifts. This would have likely taken a year or more. They past up the gods of their own country and the wealth of a king, leaving behind family and comfort because they believed the stars spoke of a baby that would be greater than all of that.
