Unashamed - 9 Nov 2008

We can all relate to times in our lives where we feel the pressure not to be a Christian in certain environments. Sometimes we may want to water down God's word so as not to offend someone. However, we see Paul write to the church in Rome, "I am unashamed of the Gospel." And Paul had every reason not to be ashamed. He understood that Christ had died. Even more so, Paul was convinced that Christ had died for his sins and therefore he should no longer live for Himself, but for the King of Kings.
If we're not convinced that Christ died on the cross for us then when sin comes knocking on our door, we're not going to have any reason to resist it.
As Christians in this generation we can't be ashamed. Listen as Pastor Cox explains how we have some good reasons to stand in the midst of trials and temptation.

It's A New Season! I Am Unashamed!
Praise God. This blessed me. This was a confirmation that I need to keep being bold and unashamed, but that I need to add more love to my walk. Pastor Cox that story of you at that party full of gay men opened my eyes on what I'm doing wrong. I praise and thank God for your message.
WOW!!! This sermon touched
WOW!!! This sermon touched me more than any other sermon I have ever listened to from Pastor Cox and believe me, I have listened to MANY! When Pastor spoke about religion vs. relationship and wanting to have a step by step guide of directions on how to live for Christ and be unashamed, that really hit home for me because I remember when I was like that!!! I was so focused on, "How do I walk with the Lord? What can I do? How do I die daily? How do I live out the cross?" This sermon just reminded me where I was and where God has brought me from because I can look back on when I wanted the step by step guide and see that my life is now a response to God's grace and it is just oh so personal to me! Thank you Jesus for dying for Natalie Camille Cannon when she hated you. Glory to God!

Response to Unashamed sermon
This message has truly opened my eyes to the life that GOD has called us to live for him. I thank you SOOOOO much for this message, and for sharing it online! I feel ready to follow Jesus and carry my cross no matter where, or how far i must walk. It was truly inspiring, and from GOD. Thank you again for what you guys are doing. This generation needs your strong, and unashamed voices to lead them back home. I thank GOD for you all, and for leading me to your movement. It has already increased my love and faith in Christ. God bless, and keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Cory Huddleston
