It's interesting to realize that in the Gospel of Luke there is only one woman that Jesus tells us to remember? Lot's wife. Surprising huh?

The question we ought to ask ourselves is: Out of all the women of God commended in the Bible, what is so important about Lot's wife that we need to specifically remember her?  Lot's wife was at the threshold of deliverance. She was actually outside of the city of Sodom and Gomorrah. It seemed as if destruction was behind her.  She thought because she was outside of the city that it was safe to disobey the command that God had given her, "do not look back."  She looked back and was destroyed - turned into a pillar of salt, a monument for you and I to remember.

Listen as Pastor Cox encourages us not to look back now that we've begun this race of faith.  Our King is coming, but if our heart is still on the world we are not fit to enter His kindgom.
