Frequently Asked Questions

P4CM is pleased to assist Blair Wingo as she transitions into a new season in life.  She recently transferred to a major 4-year university and has joined a new church.  Although she is no longer a member of The Passion for Christ Movement, we love Blair, and support her as God continues to show her how He will use her to bring Him glory.  From now on, Blair will be handling her own booking requests.  You can contact her directly at versefromVerse@gmail.com  to invite her to your church or event.

You're definitely welcome to come to either Sunday service at 1130 or Wednesday Bible study at 730 pm.  We have a music ministry that is focused currently on praise and worship and small projects we do to primarily to spread the Gospel and lift up the name of Christ.

Before we can do anything to put P4CM behind any artist, I'm sure you understand that we'd first like to meet you, fellowship and get to know you first.  We have many people who make requests for us to help promote their career or join our music ministry.  I'm not sure where you fall in that spectrum, but since our entire ministry is submitted to Christ, we'd want to make sure we're all on one accord and you've had a history of being submitted under our ministry and discipled by someone in the P4CM and are blessed and commissioned by the Pastor to go out on our behalf.  Any of the various singing, producing, or spoken word artists that perform either from the pulpit at our church or go out from the church and minister in the states or internationally have gone through the same thing and God has honored it.

If you're on a mac, all of the videos on youtube can be downloaded using a program called tubesock.  If you're on windows, you can download them using this website: http://keepvid.com/.  Each have options for downloading them for play on your iPod.

If the video is longer than 10 or 11 minutes, or you can't find it on youtube, it's on a website called blip.tv.  You can download them directly from that site using this link: http://p4cm.blip.tv/.  Click on Episode Archive and find the video you want.  Click on that video and it will play on a smaller screen.  Below the video you'll see a drop down that says select a format and choose m4v.  Then below that a bit is a bar that says Quick LInks.  Click the one that says download and it will allow you to download the video.  This format can play on any iPod.

If you want to burn the video to DVD, on a mac, just use iDVD.  If you're on Windows, use one of the programs you find at this link: http://tiny.cc/cPNsw.

Our church is a small church with Pastor Justin Cox as our full time Pastor and leader with the help of 5 other people in part time ministry.  We are in the middle of producing more videos as well as working on a music production team to put out some music that will glorify Christ and God willing encourage people to live a life sold out to Jesus Christ.  We are also still a church so we have church service, Bible Studies, Evangelism training, and personal discipleship. The Grace of God has allowed us to be able to keep doing all of these things to His glory.

However, we had no idea how real Pastor Cox's Spiritual Famine message was because since we started posting videos, they have been viewed nearly 300,000 times.  We have also had over one thousand people email us here at the movement with over one hundred inviting us to do ministry all over the world and well over two hundred of those looking for discipleship or personal ministry.  In fact, Pastor Cox is currently ministering to people here at P4CM as well as individuals across the world.

I'm not saying this to make an excuse.  In fact our heart is lined up with the Lord's and for anyone with an open heart in search of the Lord, please let us know and we will rely on the Grace of God to help us respond to as many people as possible.  And now, with the help of God and the other 5 ministers we have set up a system to track and respond to all of the requests and we're working our way through all of them.  So if you haven't gotten a response yet, one is coming.  If your heart is troubled while you wait, I'd urge you to read Phil 4:4-7.  We will respond to you as soon as the Lord allows.

Also, we encourage you to seek help at your local body.  We've found that many of the issues people write us about will require help over time and you will be best served by getting continual counsel and discipleship at your local body.

We've had numerous requests for people who want to be a part of the movement and that's exciting.  Just so it's clear, though, this is the Passion for Christ Movement.  Not passion for poetry, preaching, videos, websites, youtube, doctrine, holiness, or anything else.

Now, the ministry that has gone forth here at P4CM on demonstrates that there is a valid place for all of these things, but everything you see is the fruit of lives FULLY surrendered to Jesus Christ.

If you want to be a part of the Movement, let us know using the Contact P4CM form.  We need to know 2 things.

  1. What is your testimony?
  2. What skills do you have that will contribute to exalting the supremacy of Christ and the power he gives us through the Holy Spirit to live lives surrendered to Him and clinging it Him for our righteousness.

For any of the sermons on audio or video, you can download them if you like.  To do so, on each sermon, there there is a blurb just above the comments.  If there is not a blurb, there are the words "read more."  Either way right click those words and click save target as and download the file to your computer.

Much easier than that is to install itunes and quicktime.  Then you can download all of the sermons by subscribing to our podcasts.  There is a subscription option in every sermon posted.  You can also click here to see all of our podcasts.  The bonus is that whenever you subscribe, you will automatically have the newest sermons downloaded to your computer as soon as we upload and post them.  You will never have to pay to download those items.  It's free.

As far as having CDs or DVDs for sale, we will update this FAQ when we have them for sale.  We're a small church so we have to balance the cost of producing small numbers of CDs/DVDs with a reasonable price to charge.  Please let us know if you'd buy some so we can guage demand for when we will begin selling.  In the meantime, if you'd like to donate to the movement so we can continue to provide all of these free downloads, click here to give to the Movement.

P4CM is a small church in LA and until we get that private jet or hit the lottery (lol), it would be great if you would cover airfare or other transportation to your event, transportation while in your city, and lodging accomodations while there.  In addition to that, if your organization would like to give a love offering, it would be greatly appreciated.  Please just submit your request to the Contact P4CM form, let us know the situation and we'll work out the details.  Using paypal, we're able to accept pretty much any form of payment.

We'd love for people to do their own performances on one condition.  The condition is if it's possible, please record your performance and post it to Youtube.  If the video is longer than 10 minutes, you'll have to post it on another video hosting site due to Youtube's time limitations.  We use blip.tv to host the P4CM sermons which can be over an hour long and up to 1GB file size.  Have fun and we look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Click here for a good site to help you with getting the video ready for posting.

People ask if they have to pay to do the performance.  The answer is no, but if you would like to give a donation, you can give a donation using our Paypal account.  Just click the Donate button on the menu to the left or Click Here.  All credit cards are accepted and if you have a Paypal account, that is even easier.

We have the lyrics to...

Reintroduce the Christ here

No More Excuses here

I remember when you used to love me

You Just Lost One, Letter to Satan

We've seen more than a few websites that have transcribed the lyrics to the poems (shout out to Alan Higgins) and we really appreciate the work going on out there.

We're a small church and do all of the work on this website ourselves.  We don't always have a chance to do things like transcribe the lyrics so we would really appreciate your help.  If you could, transcribe the other poems and post the lyrics as a comment on the poem video here on the site and then everyone will have access to the lyrics.

We've had visitors from over 51 countries and many for whom English is not their first language.  If you speak multiple languages and can help, please post the lyrics translated into whatever other language you know as a comment to the lyrics we already have posted.
