I would like to thank you and the ministry you're involved in (p4cm.com) for doing this bold move! I remember the day clearly when I started using a chat room, which led to cyber sex, then phone sex, then porn addiction and soon masturbation. I pray God for deliverance from this problem!! And it's amazing to know that I am not alone! There are sooo many people in the church, especially the youth struggling with these things, yet who can they turn to?? This is left in the dark and unspoken of...when I visited the website a few days ago, the first thing i saw was, EX-PORN ADDICT!! And i simply said Praise God!! God was speaking to me and telling me that enough is enough!! Once again, praise God for your ministry!! You have my full support!! I don't mind doing anything w/in my capabilities to help!

I would like to say I thank god for using those that were in the video for reaching out to those that were lost, that are lost and soon to be lost.
I am 22 years old and have been fighting with this addiction since my teenage years. I was exposed to it back in my young years (7 or
. I would watch TV and noticed that the TV had a channel we could get but all we heard was the sound. it really didn’t do anything to me but the thought was in my head. I fought with curiosity my whole life even to my sisters at a young age. but to be delivered from that was the best part in life. but it came back in fought me again my late teenage years when my older cousin exposed me to internet porn and that’s when days upon days I masterbated just for the feeling alone.
but one thing at the back of my head was questions. questions like, why am I masterbating, what purpose do I get out of it?, whats the point of masterbating where the true meaning is to have pleasure with a mate? and isn’t god watching me? have anyone ever thought about that? I mean seriously he is looking right over your shoulder while your playing with yourself!
well I would like to say I am truly thankful tonight just after hearing the one girl confess that everyone thought she was a goody-to-shoe girl but in reality she was fighting a sin that was greater than anyone can imagine and she was to ashamed to expose it to the world. and to be honest that are how most people in the world are operating. I mean seriously, 99.9% of the time and each day, someone is putting up a fake front to make it seem like their life is going fine but in reality they are fighting situations in there life that no one knows about but only them.
I felt like one of those 99.9% and to be totally honest I rebuke that in the name of JESUS! I will not let worldly rituals. yes worldly rituals overtake my ticket to heaven. I ask god right now to TAKE ANYTHING NOTS NOT LIKE HIM OUT OF ME RIGHT NOW IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!
I can admit and say that since this year I minimized my masturbation to few times but I was not completely satisfied because it was something keeping me away from god. so I got down on my knees to ask god to forgive me and put my mind in the right state of mind and the right path and to eliminate the enemy out of me in the name of JESUS! I cried out and even tried to expose this to my friends but that wasn’t enough. until today I was witnessed by this site and see that people are indeed like me and fighting the same battles like me. sure it’s a sin but like all sins we can fight these and burn them!
I will not let the world scare or put fear in me to be ashamed of my sin that needs to be exposed. its sins like this that need to be expose so that we Christians can show the world that we live in sin and we fight it and we overcome it and we are not ashamed of it.

at the beginning I was going to order one of the “ex-porn addict shirt” but was to ashamed because people would laugh at me. but when I prayed and ask god to speak to me, he did and he bought me to the scriptures where jesus was mocked, kicked, laughed, spitted on and regardless of the circumstances he fought and pushed forward and died for are sins even though the ones that hated him and mocked him.
that love is still intact to this day and I learned from jesus that you should love your enemys. for your enemys will soon be looking upon you for help. they will come knocking at your door for help and you as a child of god will be there to lift them up. because as he had unconditional love for us, we must do the same to our enemy’s. and in relation to those sentences above I have now accepted and will order one of these shirts to show the world that:

and if we do get laughed at we take it as a compliment because we know we have gotten the message across.
what’s crazy is that porn is welcomed into darkness and not mocked when your door is closed and your doing it but when you expose it to the world on the outside in the light, your criticized. why? because you exposed the truth and the world hates to see someone stand up and battle against it. I will battle against it and where that shirt to represent my standing of deliverance.

basically im 16 years old an still fighting my addiction of masturbating and watchin porn,listening to all the testimony and everything has made me think back.I have relised that i have been exposed to alot of tyhings that has developed into sexual desires.I remember back to when my mum sent me back to ghana were i originate from,i had a cousin that used to show me things that i child of 4 should not have seen or done.Also all my life i have been put down and told that i was ugly and lots of stuff.Im the type of person who would smile the whole day and cry myself to sleep,i never liked showing my emotions.I cant even bring myself to tell others about my addiction beacause others see me as a innocent bubbly girl but really i know that im not.Im quiet shocked by all the videos because i only thought that only ugly people done these nasty stuff,i also never thought it was as bad as sleeping around.I always had the thought that as long as my cherry isnt popped ,im fine.Just shows that we need to start discusiing these issues in church especially to raise awareness.I thank God for all this group has done and i will love to join in the near furtur.It has given me hope and i'm gonna keep fighting to break my addiction .AMEN

Ex-Whatever .vs recovering addict???
Many in these programs start every meeting claiming they are, "A drug addict, a sex addict, a homosexual" or whatever. Yet they have not been so for years and years. Is this the proper mentality to this? I personally THROUGHLY disagree with such a thing. Although I suppose without Christ it is truer than with Christ.
When you try to quit those addictions like I have, and I have had to quit MOST ALL of them at some point. In fact when I stood on your stage if you remember I told you the ONLY shirt I could not wear was the Ex-Player because I just was NOT a player. With a face like mine you can understand. LOL
From Ex-Bisexual to ex-drug addict to everything in between I can wear those shirts. However, am I those things now? Have I been those things for years? NO!!! Why because God truly and completely delivered me from those things. WHY in the world would I want to go to a meeting time and time again and declare to everyone I am something I am NOT anymore?
In my eyes that makes me down play the work God did in my life so long ago. So, I said all that to say this. This idea of wearing shirts that proclaim you are FREE from some sort of an addiction IS In my humble Opinion DEAD ON RIGHT and the way we SHOULD proclaim our Godly freedoms from such addictions. Not to mention it goes to show how powerful God is. When a person truly repents of their sins and comes to Christ and is set free from those addictions they are SET FREE FROM THOSE ADDICITONS. NOTHING short of a miracle has happened there and we MUST proclaim it to the world.
So, NOT that I get anything out of this but I HIGHLY Suggest you get your shirt today and start telling your community what God has done in your life to free you from the addictions that once held you hostage. Well i have been a born again Christain for 3years and God has been good and faithful because before the Lord saved me i was really into alot of pornography and masturbation i can even remember in my teens that i would masturbate just to satisfy the flesh and as i got older i realize i really had a problem with masturbation and pornography because i would watch anything to grafy my flesh but i was still enslaved to my sin so aroud 21 years old. I was really broken over my sin when the LORD used my mom to let me now that i was lost and need to repent from my sin and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ . So i praise the LORD for him saving me and sparing from the fathers wrath and giving me salvation as a gift so i can abide in his word.Thank you lord i pray that you will help me to be ready to take persecution for your Glory God.

i have been taught in life orientation classes that masterbation is normal and it happens to every guy. I thought it is a sign of puberty, and hormones and stuff like that, but now i hear you guys talking about being an EX-Masterbator. I don't get it, please help me understand. God bless you.

Oddly I thought a TON of folks would respond to this thread like crazy, so I didn't. Please forgive me my friend as I see I should have done so. I HOPE you get this reply as well.
First, let's talk about the "life orientation classes" you talked about. Now they did not have those when I was in school but I have read enough to know what they are teaching, to a point. Things like what you have said, Masturbation is normal and GOOD and okay. To homosexuality is normal and good and okay. So when they "Teach" and I use that term very loosely I tend to disbelieve them right from the start. I KNOW what their motives are and why they are doing what they are doing.
In one state they are giving condoms to kids in Kindergarten and first grade. Now how smart is this do you think? Even if they knew what to do with them, they could NEVER use them for what they are made for. Sorry I am not trying to be funny but give me a break. ALL they are doing is trying to justify their SIN and cause others to agree with them and be a part of it.
Now listen, I am a Pastor, yes, I am a man, yes, and I have fought this fight for MUCH of my life, YES! I am NOT however a counselor nor am I trying to give you advice. ALL I can do is explain to you what the Bible tells us as well as what I have been through. So take whatever you can from what I say and use it, the rest toss out.
I started masturbating at a VERY early age and I found out how to do it purely by accident. I never knew I was doing something wrong or against God, it just felt good to do. As I grew up I learned how to do different things and still I never knew it was bad, evil, or a “Sin” BUT as I got older something started happening inside my head and heart EVERY time I did it. Something you MAY be feeling too.
GUILT would hit me the SECOND AFTER I did my thing. Even though NO one EVER told me that kind of thing was wrong, I KNEW IT was wrong in my heart. I knew what I had just done was not right although I did not really understand why, how or anything else for that matter. I had NO Bible training as a kid.
The guilt NEVER went away as I grew up. As I got into worse and worse sexual things, things like I talked about in what I wrote above (read it bro), the guilt never left. I DID however try to find things people had written that would help me to “Justify it in my own mind” to try and make that guilty feeling go away. Of course I found TONS of stuff to help with that but it never really went away. For a time I bought into the lie that it is normal and actually good for you to do in fact. It is “Healthy” and maybe it is for some people. That is between them and God. For me however, 5 times a day is NOT HEALTHY! It drains you, literally.
Of course it also took me into the wide world of PO-RN. I needed something to fantasize about and those pictures worked perfectly, for a while. Then the Internet came along and provided me with anything and everything I had ever wanted to see but even that was not enough my friend after a while.
Listen, I got so into it I dragged my wife into “Swinging.” If you do not know what that is, it is the act of inviting another person/s into your bedroom to have sex with. In my case we invited other men that met MY desires and needs.
Just like drugs, as it IS a drug mind you, it starts out small and innocent but it grows and gorws and grows into a Hellish demonic monster that WILL eat you alive and take you straight to hell with it.
Now that is the physical side of it. There IS a spiritual side of course. The Word of God (Bible) tells us we MUST keep our minds CLEAN. Jesus told us that if we look at a woman and lust after her we commit adultery in our hearts. See God not only judges what you do but what you think as well. When a man masturbates what do they think about during the process? WHO do they think about? What kinds of things are they thinking about doing with that person? Do you see where I am coming from here.
Another deal is when we allow our minds to get into the gutter, so to speak, we are NOT keeping it in line with the Word of God. Now I realize FEW in the churches here in America teach about living righteously but we ARE called to do so.
Just “Accepting Jesus into your heart” and doing as you please from then on out is NOT the true way to be saved my friend. First, NO where in the Bible does it say we are to “Accept Jesus into our Heart” anyhow but that is another lesson. If you want to learn what I am talking about on that more go to www.wayofthemaster.com and listen to both the audio. First listen to “Hells Best Kept Secrete” and then second listen to “True and False Conversion” By my very good friend Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron (yes he is the actor).
We are told in the Word of God that we are to REPENT of our sins. That means simply to not only ask for forgiveness BUT we are to TURN from our sins and DO THEM NO MORE. Or better put, live for them no longer. We once loved sins but now that we are being saved we are to NO longer like those things and do everything we can to stay away from them. Realizing we ALL fall into sin from time to time, when we do we MUST repent again and go on and try to stay away from anything and everything that would suck us back into it.
We are also called to place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone. NO OTHER has died for our sins, actually died in our place. It should have been you and I on that cross NOT Christ. He was sinless and we are full of sin! However, He did give His life in place of yours. So, how then can we go on pretending to be a Christian and yet NOT living for Him in ALL of our ways? We can’t and in truth we know it inside.
Now when I told you I knew what I was doing was wrong, I did not know why it was wrong. I have learned since then that God has written His laws on EVERY person’s heart. Humans are the ONLY species that KNOW right from wrong. Let’s take a kitty cat for example. They can chase down a mouse, play with it and kill it dead. After they are done they do not get up, cry and ask for forgiveness for murdering that mouse. Instead they will no doubt drop the mouse and go looking for a new mouse to play with until it is dead.
Humans on the other hand KNOW right from wrong. HOW can this be unless God wrote His Words in our hearts before we were ever born? So, that feeling of guilt you most likely feel when you masturbate and or do other sexual or non-sexual sins is actually a BLESSING from God if you think about it that way.
If you did NOT feel that way, then I would say you are in BIG trouble because if that was the case then I would have to question your salvation. Sadly these days the teachers in our schools are literally brain washing our kids into believing all sort of sin is “normal” when the truth is it is sin that will send the person to Hell. Everything from masturbation to homosexuality, to swinging, to things I will not even talk about because they are so SICKENING and perverted.
As I was talking about, regarding what is being taught in the churches these days. Many of the “preachers” only talk about the positive things and of course about TITHING. Claiming tithing is something you do in order to get all the goodies you want from God. NOT!!!!
They NEED to be talking about these kinds of issues as well. They NEED classes that will help young adults like yourself see and understand clearly what the Word of God says regarding these issues. But most do not sadly. Now the folks at P4CM on the other hand do not seem to shy away from ANY subject. I have had the personal blessing of attending one of their Sunday Morning services when I was in L.A. last year and I was VERY pleased to see what these folks do. Now I can only speak for what I saw that day mind you but I believe these young people are truly there to help you and answer your questions on these tough issues.
One of the best things you can do is of course pray and ask God to show you in the Bible how you should conduct yourself and a Godly man that serves the Lord Jesus Christ. If you dive into the Bible I can PROMISE you those questions WILL be answered as well as all the others that will come up.
One more comment I need to make. I understand practically you are young and hormones are jumping around inside you like a wild monkey in a small cage. I KNOW this because even at the OLD age of 41 I am STILL like that at times. I can remember being 15, 17, 21 and being so “wound up” shall we say that I thought I was going to explode if I did not do something sexual right then and there. However, we are called to force our physical bodies to get inline with our spiritual souls and do what our spiritual side wants us to do. The flesh will ALWAYS want to do the wrong thing and our spiritual side will want to serve God and do the right things. This battle will NEVER stop until we are standing with the Lord in heaven.
So, at this young age if you can learn to control the flesh side of yourself and FORCE it to do what you know is right to do than you will be so far ahead of so many others it will not even be funny. Why is that important? Simply because that is the kind of person God wants to use in MIGHTY ways. When a man or woman stands before God and they are pure in His sight, He WILL use them in ways you cannot even imagine right now.
These are the kinds of men that are turned into the Peter’s, Paul’s, and the John’s of the Bible. Sadly brother, there are very FEW of them these days. I would say Paul Washer is one of them. John MacArthur is another but remember they are still men and as men we can fail others.
I hope and pray something I have said can and will help my friend. Keep your eyes so focused on Jesus Christ that NOTHING else in your life matters and you WILL be better off then the rest of the people your age and many that are older than you in fact.

I have been and still am addicted to porn and masterbation. I have gone on streaks of a few weeks of doing neither of the two but there always comes a day when the addiction takes over. Today I'm going to make a conscious decision to be free from porn and masterbation by the grace of God. Thank for the motivation to be bold and to make the effort to be free from the addiction. I deserve it, my family deserves and God must get the Glory! I will share this site with everyone I know because it is very powerful and bold. Exactly what the church needs, exactly what I needed.
