If anyone has heard of human trafficking, they more than likely know how devastating and awful it is.

Well, on Friday January 25, 2013, from 7:00-9:30pm at Cottonwood Church, (the same location of RHETORIC 2012), there will be a human trafficking awareness event. The event is entitled “FREE THEM”, which stands for Fight Redeem Empower Everyone, Together Help End Slavery. The event is co-organized by the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force (OCHTTF) and Cottonwood Church.

P4CM was recently asked if we’d like to be involved in helping raise awareness. We eagerly said yes!

How great of an opportunity to express and share our passion for Christ through our compassion and service of raising awareness for something horrendous as human trafficking.

This free event, set to bring attention to human trafficking awareness month, invites the community to share in the story of human trafficking through education and art. The theme is: "It Starts at Home". It will be a night of dancing, singing, artwork, education, empowerment and learning what you can do as individuals and the community in the anti-trafficking movement.

Janette…ikz will be performing, and one of our co-executive directors Chris Davis and the marketing director Morgan Davis will be in attendance as volunteers helping out.

We ask anyone in the Southern California (San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire) area to come be a part of this awareness event. Furthermore, we encourage believers everywhere to express and share your passion for Christ through finding ways to become educated about human trafficking and how you and your churches can get involved in reaching and rescuing a life for Christ in this way.
